Due to the current situation (COVID- 19 Crisis), many are communicating more often via video call and using more often their webcam. Here are a few simple points to optimize the look of one’s webcam image.
1. BALANCE YOUR LIGHT
- Try to get the light in front of you, not behind.
Ex: Windows - Light position
2. COMPOSITION
- Try to get your webcam at Eye Level
- Have a look at your background
- Try to look in the camera
3. HARDWARE
We sometimes already have useful hardware that we don’t use and sound is important, so try to use an external microphone.
Also, if you want to push it deep, there’s actually ways to use your DSLR as a webcam.
